Troubleshoot a solution-aware cloud flow

Completed

In some situations, a published flow might fail to run successfully. In such circumstances, the flow owner receives an email with information about the failure in addition to insights, when available, on how to resolve the issues.

To troubleshoot a flow error, go to the run history that's available in the flow definition page. In the 28-day run history section, you can view the date and time of the different flow runs, along with the status of the run:

  • Running - The flow is currently running
  • Succeeded - A published version of the flow ended with success.
  • Failed - A published version of the flow ended with an error.
  • Test failed - A flow triggered within the designer ended with an error.
  • Test succeeded - A flow triggered within the designer ended with success.

In the list, select the flow run with an error status to investigate. A flow designer window opens in read-only mode. The designer window contains information for each action, including the duration and the success (green check mark) or failure (red exclamation point) status for this step.

Select the action to review the error details, which are visible in the left pane. Copilot in Microsoft Power Automate also provides information about the error along with suggestions on how to fix it.
