Create a solution-aware cloud flow

Completed

In a Dataverse environment where you have permission to add components to an unmanaged Microsoft Power Platform solution, you can create a solution-aware cloud flow by following these steps:

  1. Sign in to the Power Automate portal.
  2. Select Solutions in the left navigation pane. Then, go to and select the target solution.
  3. From + New > Automation > Cloud flow, select the type of cloud flow to create.
  4. Design the flow, and then select Save.

The cloud-aware flow is now part of the solution. The Solutions tile of the flow definition lists the solutions that include or make a reference to this flow.

Migrate a non solution-aware cloud flow into a solution

You can move a non solution-aware cloud flow into a solution. Then, follow these steps to take advantage of the benefits of it becoming a solution-aware cloud flow:

  1. In the target solution, select Add existing > Automation > Cloud flow.

  2. Select the Outside Dataverse tab.

  3. Select the flow that you want to migrate, and then select Add.
