The following table shows the code samples available for the DVD-Video API. The Sysgen variable for each is SYSGEN_DDVD_SAMPLES. The source code for the DVD-Video API samples is located in the subdirectories of %_WINCEROOT%\PUBLIC\DIRECTX\SDK\SAMPLES\DDVD.

| ANXJTest | A simple DVD player sample application that exposes user operations described in Annex J of the DVD Forum Specification. |
| DVDPlay | A very simple DVD player sample application that demonstrates the simplest core principles of the DVD-Video API. It is in essence the Hello World of the DVD-Video API.
Creating a Simple DVD Player does not specifically discuss DVDPlay, but it does provide good supplemental descriptions of the concepts that DVDPlay demonstrates. |
| DVDSample | A full-featured sample application that demonstrates how the DVD-Video API can be used to create a complete DVD playback application.
