Parameters

• lpdwCaps
  Flag from the dwPalCaps member of the DDCAPS structure that defines palette capabilities:

  DDPCAPS_8BIT

  DDPCAPS_8BITENTRIES

  DDPCAPS_ALPHA

  DDPCAPS_ALLOW256

  DDPCAPS_PRIMARYSURFACE

  DDPCAPS_VSYNC

Return Values

If the method succeeds, the return value is DD_OK.

If the method fails, the return value may be one of the following error values:
