This method retrieves the locale identifier (LCID) value corresponding to the given RFC1766-conforming name.

Parameters
- pLocale
[out] Pointer to the buffer to receive the LCID. - bstrRfc1766
[in] RFC1766-conforming name for which the caller wants information.
Return Values

Value | Description |

S_OK | Success. |
S_FALSE | The returned LCID matches the primary language of the RFC1766-conforming name only. |
E_FAIL | The method could not get the information from the database or the system. |
E_INVALIDARG | One or more of the arguments are invalid. |
Remarks
A client uses this method to translate a human-readable locale name to a Windows-defined LCID.
