Font linking solves part of the rendering problems that occur with dialog boxes that result from a UI switch. No system font change needs to occur to make this work. However, sizing issues may occur if a different font is used than was used to create the OS dialog boxes.
Because registry values control the boldness of button text based on locale preferences, the system cannot make a change based on a new UI. To compensate for this, set the following locale-specific registry settings:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\GWE\Button\<Locale>
"FontWeight" – weight of the font.
