IOCTL_SERIAL_SET_TIMEOUTS (Windows CE 5.0)

This IOCTL sets the time-out parameters for all read/write operations on a specified communications device. The DeviceIoControl function executes this IOCTL.

Parameters

• dwOpenData
  [in] Handle returned from a call to the COM_Open function.
• dwCode
  [in] Set to this IOCTL: IOCTL_SERIAL_SET_TIMEOUTS.
• pBufIn
  [in] Pointer to a COMMTIMEOUTS structure.
• dwLenIn
  [in] Set to sizeof(COMMTIMEOUTS).
• pBufOut
  Ignored.
• dwLenOut
  Ignored.
• pdwActualOut
  Ignored.

Return Values

Returns TRUE if successful. Returns FALSE otherwise. To get extended error information, call GetLastError.

OS Versions: Windows CE 1.0 and later.
