The following table shows the Remote NDIS data types with a description of the purpose of each.

| RNDIS_CLASS_ID | This data type is used by a REMOTE_NDIS_PACKET_MSG to specify OOB data, if needed. |
| RNDIS_MEDIUM | This data type defines the valid media used by RNDIS. |
| RNDIS_OID | This data type is used by REMOTE_NDIS_QUERY_MSGG and REMOTE_NDIS_SET_MSG to specify a Remote NDIS object identifier that queries or sets a parameter. |
| RNDIS_REQUEST_ID | This data type specifies the Remote NDIS message identifier. This value is used to match device responses to host sent messages. |
| RNDIS_STATUS | This data type indicates RNDIS status values. |
