A configuration package is a collection of configuration items. You can use configuration packages to install, update, and configure software to meet the individual needs of your devices. A configuration package can contain individual files, updates, an individual command, or a software application. You can create configuration packages that run an executable program or script on a device, change a device’s registry settings, or perform other actions on a device.
