This method adds phrase rules to the phrase being built.
HRESULT AddRules( const SPPHRASERULEHANDLE hParent, const SPPHRASERULE* pRule, SPPHRASERULEHANDLE* phNewRule);
Parameters
- hParent
[in] Handle to the parent phrase rule. - pRule
[in] Pointer to an SPPHRASERULE structure that contains the phrase rules to add. - phNewRule
[out] Pointer to a handle to the SPPHRASERULE structure that contains the new phrase rules.
Return Values
The following table shows the possible return values.

|---|---|
| S_OK | Function completed successfully. |
| E_POINTER | Invalid pointer. |
| SPERR_UNINITIALIZED | The object has not been properly initialized. |
| FAILED(hr) | Appropriate error message. |
