This method deletes the OS object corresponding to a specified bstrOSIdOrName element. For information about registering an OS with Platform Manager, see IPMPlatformManager::AddOS.

HRESULT DeleteOS(BSTR bstrOSIdOrName);

Parameters

  • bstrOSIdOrName
    [in] GUID or name of the OS to be deleted.

Return Values

Returns S_OK if the call was successfully completed. If a failure occurs, the appropriate HRESULT value is returned.

Requirements

OS Versions: Windows CE .NET 4.0 and later.
Header: Platform.h, Cemgr.idl.
