The WaitForActiveServer method allows your application to wait for library to become ready to accept queries. This is a utility function. Your application would receive server notifications and network status notification via the registered sink.
This is a utility function. In normal usage you would call AddSink before calling Start and would receive the information via the sink.
Syntax
bool WaitForActiveServer (
DWORDWaitTimeInMSec);
Parameters
- WaitTimeInMSec
Number of milliseconds to wait for.
Return Value
This method returns a bool indicating the success or failure of the operation. Possible values include the following:
Value | Description |
---|---|
TRUE | The Wait was successful and there is an active server available to accept media queries. |
FALSE | There was either an error or wait timed out. Check GetLastError() value for more information about the cause for failure. |
