IFeedFolder::TotalUnreadItemCount Property

Retrieves the total (aggregated) number of unread items.

Syntax

HRESULT IFeedFolder::get_TotalUnreadItemCount(LONG *count);

Parameters

  • count
    Pointer to a variable of type LONG that receives the total number of items.

Return Value

Returns S_OK if successful, or an error value otherwise.

Remarks

The value returned from IFeedFolder::TotalUnreadItemCount is an aggregate of all the feeds in the current folder and its subfolders.

This property returns a cached value and does not require access to any feed files.
