The CreateWindowBuffer method creates a buffer object that represents a window inside another buffer.
Syntax
HRESULT CreateWindowBuffer(
[in] IFWXIOBuffer *pIOBufferOriginal,
[in] DWORD dwOffset,
[in] DWORD dwLength,
[out] IFWXIOBuffer **pIOBuffer
);
Parameters
pIOBufferOriginal [in]
Pointer to the IFWXIOBuffer interface on the buffer object from which the window should be taken.dwOffset [in]
Offset in the original buffer of the beginning of the window.dwLength [in]
Length, in bytes, of the window.pIOBuffer [out]
Address of a variable that receives a pointer to the IFWXIOBuffer interface.
Return value
This method returns S_OK if the call is successful; otherwise, it returns an error code.
Remarks
This method allows you to point to a portion of a buffer, so that a portion of it can be sent.
