IFPCSmtpRoute::IPsOnNetworks property

The IPsOnNetworks property gets an FPCIPsOnNetworks collection that contains information about the IP addresses on which Forefront TMG listens for SMTP requests from particular networks.

This property is read-only.

Property value

Reference to an FPCIPsOnNetworks collection that specifies information about the IP addresses on which Forefront TMG listens for SMTP requests from particular networks.

Error codes

This property method returns S_OK if the call is successful; otherwise, it returns an error code.

Remarks

This property is read-only. It can be modified by calling the methods of the FPCIPsOnNetworks collection retrieved (the IFPCIPsOnNetworks interface retrieved in C++).

When the RouteDirection property is set to fpcInternalMailServers, the IP addresses included in this property are the IP addresses from which Forefront TMG listens for outbound mail from internal SMTP servers.

When the RouteDirection property is set to fpcInternetMailServer, the IP addresses included in this property are the IP addresses from which Forefront TMG listens for inbound mail from SMTP servers on the Internet.

A particular IP address on which Forefront TMG listens for SMTP requests from a particular network can be configured for only one SMTP route.
