IFPCOutboundHTTPSInspectionConfiguration::CreateNewRootCACertificate method

The CreateNewRootCACertificate method creates a new self-signed root certification authority certificate that will be used for re-signing certificates by Forefront TMG.

Parameters

• IssuerName [in]

  C++	Required. BSTR that specifies the name of the issuer of the new self-signed root certification authority certificate.
  VB	String that specifies the name of the issuer of the new self-signed root certification authority certificate.

• ExpiredDate [in]

  C++	Required. DATE value that specifies the date and time in Coordinated Universal Time (UTC) when the new certificate will expire.
  VB	Required. Date value that specifies the date and time in Coordinated Universal Time (UTC) when the new certificate will expire.

• IssuerStatement [in]

  C++	Required. BSTR that specifies the name of the issuer's Certification Practice Statement.
  VB	Required. String value that specifies the name of the issuer's Certification Practice Statement.

Return value

C++

This method returns S_OK if the call is successful; otherwise, it returns an error code.

VB

This method has no return values. If the call is unsuccessful, an error is raised that can be intercepted by using an error handler.
