IFPCConnectivityVerifier2::SetHTTPConnectivityRequest method

The SetHTTPConnectivityRequest method sets the ServerAddress and HostHeader properties of the connectivity verifier object.

Syntax

Parameters

  • ServerAddress [in]

    C++ BSTR that specifies the address of the server to which connectivity is to be verified.
    VB String that specifies the address of the server to which connectivity is to be verified.

  • AltHostHeader [in]

    C++ BSTR that specifies the alternative Host header to be used in HTTP GET requests sent by the connectivity verifier.
    VB String that specifies the alternative Host header to be used in HTTP GET requests sent by the connectivity verifier.

Return value

C++

This method returns S_OK if the call is successful; otherwise, it returns an error code.

VB

This method has no return values. If the call is unsuccessful, an error is raised that can be intercepted by using an error handler.
