Select Layout on the Linear Scale Properties dialog box to specify how a linear scale is positioned within the linear gauge.
Options
- Position in gauge
Type a value or expression that represents the position of the scale, as a percentage of gauge panel width or height, whichever is smaller. By default, this option is set to 50, which means that on a linear gauge oriented horizontally, the scale is positioned at 50% of the width.
- Start margin
Type a value or expression that represents the margin between the start of the scale and the gauge frame as a percentage of gauge width or height, whichever is smaller. By default, this option is set to 8, which means that on a linear gauge oriented horizontally, the scale contains a start margin of 8% of the total width of the linear gauge.
- End margin
Type a value or expression that represents the margin between the end of the scale and the gauge frame, as a percentage of gauge width or height, whichever is smaller. By default, this option is set to 8, which means that on a linear gauge oriented horizontally, the scale contains an end margin of 8% of the total width of the linear gauge.
- Scale bar width
Type a value or expression that represents the width of the scale bar, as a percentage of the scale radius. The scale bar is the line on which tick marks are drawn.
