Begins the placement operation.

Parameters

• item
  Type: Microsoft.Windows.Design.Model.ModelItem
  The ModelItem for which the placement operation is started.

Remarks

Override the BeginPlacement method to set up a placement operation. For moving or sizing operations, this usually involves caching the initial bounding Rect of the item or its parent.

The default implementation has no effect.
