This function retrieves the live local variables at a specified virtual address.

HRESULT get_liveLVarInstances(
   ULONGLONG          va,
   DWORD              cInstances,
   DWORD*             pcInstances,
   IDiaLVarInstance** instances
);

Parameters

va
[in] Virtual address for which to get local variables. Set to 0 to retrieve all live locals.
cInstances
[in] Maximum number of local variables to return. This dictates the size of the instances array.
pcInstances
[out] Returns the number of local variables actually returned in the instances array.
instances
[in, out] An array of IDiaLVarInstance objects that is filled in with the request live local variables.

Return Value

If successful, returns S_OK; otherwise, returns S_FALSE or an error code.

Note

A return value of S_FALSE means that the property is not available for the symbol.
