You define and configure dimension usage and dimension relationships on the Dimension Usage tab in Business Intelligence Development Studio. Dimension usage defines how cube dimensions are used, if at all, within each measure group. Dimension relationships define how the cube dimensions used in a measure group relate to the measures in the measure group.
