Property Value
Type: System. . :: . .Int16
The ConnectionRetryTimeout value, with a default value of 120 seconds.
Remarks
The ConnectionRetryTimeout property allows you to specify an amount of time that the client will attempt to recover from a failed synchronization. If recovery occurs during the duration, synchronization continues. If the connection retry time-out occurs before the connection is reestablished, synchronization fails.
The ConnectionRetryTimeout value is only used when an established connection has failed. It is not used when first establishing a connection.
Because of other network influences, the ConnectionRetryTimeout setting is only an approximation of the actual time that will lapse before the synchronization is abandoned.
The maximum time-out allowed is 900 seconds. For recommendations on setting this time-out value, see "Optimizing Connectivity" in the Books Online.
