The Permissions property of the SPList class gets the collection of permission objects that represents all the permissions for the list.

Remarks
The following table shows the Microsoft.SharePoint.SPRights values that apply to permissions for lists and provides brief descriptions of each.

| AddListItems | Add items to lists, add documents to document libraries, and add Web discussion comments. |
| CancelCheckout | Check in a document without saving the current changes. (Only applies to document libraries.) |
| DeleteListItems | Delete items from a list, documents from a document library, and Web discussion comments in documents. |
| EditListItems | Edit items in lists, edit documents in document libraries, edit Web discussion comments in documents, and customize Web Part Pages in document libraries. |
| ManageListPermissions | Grant, deny, or change user permissions to a list. |
| ManageLists | Approve content in lists, add or remove columns in a list, and add or remove public views of a list. |
| ManagePersonalViews | Create, change, and delete personal views of lists. |
