Reads the Method definition from the specified metadata XML for the specified external content type.

Parameters

• xml
  Type: System.String

  A string containing the metadata XML. The root element of the metadata XML must be the Method Element in Methods (BDCMetadata Schema).

• errors
  Type: []

  A list of noncritical errors that occurred when reading the XML.

• packageContents
  Type: Microsoft.SharePoint.BusinessData.Parser.PackageContents

  Options that specify which elements to read.

• entity
  Type: Microsoft.SharePoint.BusinessData.Administration.Entity

  The parent external content type that this Method is defined in.
