The PlayerParentalLevel property retrieves the parental management level set in the MSVidWebDVD object.
VidWebDVD.PlayerParentalLevel As Long
Parameters
This property takes no parameters.
Return Value
Returns a Long value specifying the current parental level, or -1 if parental management is disabled.
Error Codes
If the property fails, Err.Number may be set to one of the following values.
Value | Description |

E_UNEXPECTED | Unspecified error. |
VFW_E_DVD_INVALIDDOMAIN | You attempted to take the value in a domain that does not support this property. |
Remarks
This property is read-only. A player application is responsible for enforcing parental controls. DVD designers are not required to include a parental level that corresponds to the Motion Picture Association of America (MPAA) rating, or even to include a parental level at all, and DVD parental levels are not systematically applied.
