The SaveParentalCountry method saves a new parental country/region to the registry.
VidWebDVDAdm.SaveParentalCountry(
lCountry As Long,
strUserName As String,
strPassword As String
)
Parameters
lCountry
Specifies the country/region.strUserName
Specifies the user name. This parameter is not currently used, so use an empty string ("").strPassword
Specifies a password.
Return Value
This method does not return a value.
Error Codes
If the property fails, Err.Number may be set to one of the following values.
Value | Description |
---|---|
E_UNEXPECTED | Unspecified error. |
E_INVALIDARG | Invalid country/region code entered. |
E_ACCESSDENIED | Invalid password or permissions to change the country/region. |
Remarks
This method enables a user who knows the current password to save a new parental country/region setting to the registry. As with all the methods of MSVidWebDVDAdm, this method does not affect the current level in the player; it changes only the registry setting, so that the next time the MSVidWebDVD object is created, it will open with the new country/region. To change the player's current parental country/region, call MSVidWebDVD.SelectParentalCountry, which does not change the registry setting.
