IDvbFrequencyListDescriptor::GetCodingType Method

This topic applies to Update Rollup 2 for Microsoft Windows XP Media Center Edition 2005 and later.
The GetCodingType method returns a flag that specifies how the frequency is coded.

Syntax

HRESULT GetCodingType(
  [out]  BYTE *pbVal
);

Parameters

  • pbVal [out]
    Receives the coding_type flag.

Return Value

The method returns an HRESULT. Possible values include, but are not limited to, those in the following table.

Return code Description

S_OK

The method succeeded.
