IATSC_ETT::GetEtmId Method

This topic applies to Update Rollup 2 for Microsoft Windows XP Media Center Edition 2005 and later.
The GetEtmId method returns the ETM identifier, which is a unique 32-bit identifier for the text message.

Syntax

HRESULT GetEtmId(
  [out]  DWORD *pdwVal
);

Parameters

  • pdwVal [out]
    Receives the ETM_id field.

Return Value

The method returns an HRESULT. Possible values include those in the following table.

Return code Description

E_POINTER

NULL pointer argument.

S_OK

The method succeeded.
