Invokes the asynchronous action method by using the specified controller context, action name, callback method, and state.

Parameters

• controllerContext
  Type: System.Web.Mvc.ControllerContext
  The controller context.

• actionName
  Type: System.String
  The name of the action.

• callback
  Type: System.AsyncCallback
  The callback method.

• state
  Type: System.Object
  An object that contains information to be used by the callback method. This parameter can be null reference (Nothing in Visual Basic).

Return Value

Type: System.IAsyncResult
An object that contains the result of an asynchronous operation.
