Update the properties of a remoteDesktopSecurityConfiguration object on the servicePrincipal. Use this configuration to enable or disable the Microsoft Entra ID Remote Desktop Services (RDS) authentication protocol to authenticate a user to Microsoft Entra joined or Microsoft Entra hybrid joined devices.

Permissions

Important
In delegated scenarios with work or school accounts, the signed-in user must be an owner or member of the group or be assigned a supported Microsoft Entra role or a custom role with a supported role permission. The following least privileged roles are supported for this operation.

- Cloud Application Administrator

Request body
In the request body, supply only the values for properties to update. Existing properties that aren't included in the request body maintain their previous values or are recalculated based on changes to other property values.
The following table specifies the properties that can be updated.
