**When trying to enable the archive in Exchange online, you receive the error "Can't enable the archive for because this user object"
**Solution:
**
Enable a remote archive through Exchange PowerShell by running run the below on the on-premises Exchange server and force sync using AD connect Tool:
Enable-RemoteMailbox MailboxName –Archive
