I couldn't access my VM. I went to Help menu and it suggested that I needed to reset my NIC. I tried doing this but ran into trouble. How do I get support for this problem?

    Dear Rock

Here is the answer. Could you please help me to share which method you use to connect your VM is that RDP or SSH ?:

    1. Use Azure Serial Console (If Enabled)

The Azure Serial Console gives you direct access to the VM for troubleshooting.

    Go to the Azure Portal

Navigate to your VM > Support + Troubleshooting > Serial Console

If the OS boots but the NIC fails, you can use command-line tools to check or manually reset network settings.

    1. Reset the NIC via Azure Portal

Sometimes the process fails due to a transient issue or incorrect selection.

    Navigate to your VM

    Under Networking, find the NIC

Detach and reattach the NIC, or create a new one and attach that instead

Make sure your NSGs (Network Security Groups) and Routing Tables are correctly configured

    • If you're using static IPs, verify the subnet and IP settings 1. Use Azure Serial Console (If Enabled) The Azure Serial Console gives you direct access to the VM for troubleshooting.
