Dear Rock
Here is the answer. Could you please help me to share which method you use to connect your VM is that RDP or SSH ?:
- Use Azure Serial Console (If Enabled)
The Azure Serial Console gives you direct access to the VM for troubleshooting.
Go to the Azure Portal
Navigate to your VM > Support + Troubleshooting > Serial Console
If the OS boots but the NIC fails, you can use command-line tools to check or manually reset network settings.
- Reset the NIC via Azure Portal
Sometimes the process fails due to a transient issue or incorrect selection.
Navigate to your VM
Under Networking, find the NIC
Detach and reattach the NIC, or create a new one and attach that instead
Make sure your NSGs (Network Security Groups) and Routing Tables are correctly configured
- If you're using static IPs, verify the subnet and IP settings 1. Use Azure Serial Console (If Enabled) The Azure Serial Console gives you direct access to the VM for troubleshooting.
