Hello @Paven Govender,

Based on the screenshot which you have provided, I can see that the name of the User flow which you have created is B2X_1_Market_Intelligence_Test. So basically User flow name starts with B2X_1_ if you are configuring Self-service sign-up user flow in Microsoft Entra ID tenant.

Please refer to the below Screenshot for your reference.

I understand that you have created a self-service sign-up user flows in Microsoft Entra ID tenant by following the steps mentioned in the below document.

Add B2B Guest Sign-in - Microsoft Entra External ID | Microsoft Learn

Please note that I have created a new self-service sign up user flow in my test tenant by following the steps as mentioned in the above document and when I select the User flow which I have created, I am not able to see the Run user flow option as it is an expected behavior that you will not be able to see the Run user flow option when you create a self-service sign-up user flow from Microsoft Entra ID tenant.

Please refer to the below Screenshot taken from my test tenant where I am unable to see the Run user flow option.

Please note that you can see the Run user flow option only when you create a User flow from Azure AD B2C tenant by following the below document.

Hello Sanoop thanks for your feedback. This is an oversight or technical error in the deployment from Microsoft then. Did they not replace Azure AD B2C tenants with Entra Workforce Tenants enabled for External Clients? The Entra Workforce Tenant with external client enablement, is the type of tenant we have deployed on Microsoft's advice to manage our external clients. Why is the functionality not the same as the old Azure AD B2C tenant??

@Paven Govender, I understand that based on your description you created Microsoft External ID tenant could you please recheck by referring to this MsDoc External Tenant Quickstart - Microsoft Entra External ID | Microsoft Learn and also did you switch the directory to the created External tenant?

Hello @Paven Govender,

I understand that you are trying to run External user flow in normal Entra tenant and no Run user flow option is available.

Note : The "Run user flow" option is not available in a standard Microsoft Entra ID tenant when using External user flows for Sign up and sign in. This is expected behavior by design.

The issue occurs because you have created the user flow in a standard Entra ID tenant, not in a Microsoft Entra External ID tenant.

External user flows for self-service sign-up must be created in a Microsoft Entra External ID tenant.

To create and run the External user flow for self-service sign-up, you need to first create External tenant and switch to external tenant by switching the directory.

Now In your External tenant -> Go to Microsoft Entra ID -> External Identities -> User flows -> New User flow

You will able to see "Run user flow" option for External user flows for Sign up and sign in

If you want to create and run user flows for Azure AD B2C which starts with B2C_1_ then, create user flow in Azure AD B2C tenant, External user flows must be created in Microsoft Entra External ID tenant only.

The issue is still not understood clearly. When creating the external client facing tenant, we did choose the "External Tenant Option". Azure AD B2C tenants have been replaced by Azure External ID Tenants as per this link : https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/entra/external-id/customers/faq-customers . Most of the external collaboration settings for managing external users are present with the external tenant option, however the option to run the user flow is missing. This is an error or oversight in the External Tenant Deployment from Microsoft.
