I'm not sure I follow your question. You need to replace your existing hard drive in your laptop and you need to know whether you should go with SATA or M.2?
Any modern computer is going to support M.2 and they are the best option if possible. They are faster, generally around the same price and produce less heat. A quick search for your computer here shows that it supports M.2 so that is what you should go with. It is a flat little circuit board that plugs directly into the motherboard and is generally held down by a single screw. There is often a plate over the top of it to protect it but nothing else.
It doesn't look like your computer supports a full SATA drive so I don't think that is an option.
