How do I delete domain verification on an entra tenant I no longer have access to?

I had initially created an Entra ID tenant (free) when setting up my Microsoft account. I verified my custom domain successfully. I have since tried to login to the admin portal using the user I created, but have been unable to. Setting up an Azure subscription has created a new Entra Tenant, and I am now unable to verify the domain to the new subscription as the Entra tenant id is different. How do I go about resolving this so I can verify my domain to the new tenant?

Hi Liv,

Your domain can only be verified in one Entra ID tenant at a time. Since it's still tied to the original tenant, you must remove (unverify) it there before adding it to your new tenant (linked to your Azure subscription).

Thanks mate. Did reach the same conclusion as well, however I'm not entirely sure how to go about unverifying it when I no longer have access to the original tenant. Replaced the UPN to an identity that is using the domain, however logging in using that takes me to a new tenant.

I have the onmicrosoft domain for the original tenant, and the tenantid, but not the admin username for it to be able to unverify.
