How to connect to user scope ftp for staging deployment slot Azure app service

To deep down further , i would require few details , could you please provide the below,

1. Please confirm that the username and password you are using for the staging slot are the same as those set in the Azure portal?
2. Are you getting any specific error messages when you attempt to connect via FTP for the staging slot, if yes do share
3. Can you confirm whether you are using Passive or Active mode in your FTP client?
