I am not able to get phone number to try quickstart example which are related to Microsoft communication services in India region.

Pleas help

Trial phone numbers for Azure Communication Services are currently only supported by Azure subscriptions with billing addresses based in the United States. For other geographies, including India, you may need to check the Subscription eligibility documentation to determine where you can purchase a phone number.

If you are operating in India and are unable to get a phone number, it may be due to these regional limitations.

I checked the almost all the documentation. But I could not find how to purchase a phone number. I have a paid azure subscription but nowhere found how to get phone number in India region.

Can you please provide me the steps to purchase the phone number.

Currently, Azure Communication Services does not support purchasing or acquiring phone numbers in the India region. Trial phone numbers are only available for Azure accounts with billing addresses based in the United States. Even for paid subscriptions, Microsoft currently limits the geographic availability of ACS phone numbers due to regulatory requirements and service rollout phases.

Use the official ACS documentation to verify supported regions: Supported countries and regions for ACS phone numbers

If you have access to an Azure subscription with a billing address in the United States, you can acquire phone numbers through ACS. This approach is suitable for testing or if your application targets users in regions where ACS phone numbers are available.

While direct acquisition of phone numbers in India via ACS isn't possible, here are some alternatives use ACS Features That Don't Require Phone Numbers:
