How to connect my GitHub repo to an Azure App Service deployment slot?

I am trying to create a CI/CD pipeline to build my GitHub repo on Azure.

In Deployment Center for the App Service Slot I select GitHub as Source.

I see my correct name as Signed in As

I see my name again as Organization

The repository drop down is not populated and no value that I input is accepted.

I have read this document.

Also read this document but it is not clear how which outside collaborator needs to be added.

I have Admin access to the GitHub repo.

Hi Sam Wheat,

I understand that GitHub repository dropdown in Azure Deployment Center doesn't populate, even though you're signed in and have admin access. This can happen due to OAuth permission issues between GitHub and Azure.

Go to GitHub Settings:

Navigate to GitHub Settings → Applications.

Revoke Azure App Service Access:

Under Authorized OAuth Apps, find Azure App Service.

Click on it and then click Revoke access.

Return to Azure Portal:

Go back to the Deployment Center in your App Service slot.

Re-select GitHub as the source.

You’ll be prompted to authorize GitHub access again.

Grant Access to All Repos or Specific Orgs:

During reauthorization, ensure you grant access to all repositories or at least the specific organization and repo you want to deploy from.

If you're part of a GitHub organization, make sure the organization has granted third-party access to Azure App Service.

Additional Note-

If the repo is private, double-check that the OAuth app has access to private repos.

If you're using GitHub Enterprise, ensure it's properly linked in Azure.

If you're an outside collaborator, the repo owner may need to explicitly allow third-party OAuth apps to access the repo.

Hello Siva, Thank you for your response.

There is no menu option titled "Applications" under the settings menu.

There is a menu item titled "Integrations", under that there is a menu titled "GitHub Apps".

Azure App Service does not exist in the list of installed GitHub Apps.

I have admin rights on this repo.

EDIT:

Also, under Collaborators and teams > Manage access > Organization access

there are no organizations listed.
