When will Intune MDM automatic enrollment be triggered?

If the organization has enabled automatic Intune MDM enrollment for Windows, under what circumstances will I be automatically enrolled?

Will automatic enrollment occur simply by signing in to OneDrive with a work account in a browser or desktop app?

Or does it require adding the work account in Settings for automatic enrollment to happen?

    There are two scenarios for this, when it shall happen:

    1. Work Account via Settings or joining Windows manually to Azure AD / Microsoft Entra.
    2. When you add work account email to your Outlook, it asks about the management of device. That should also bring the device under Intune management.

    Only using services especially via WEB will not do anything regarding MDM join. I am not sure, does OneDrive client have similar option like Outlook has.
