stop azure backup agent job

To stop an Azure Backup Agent (MARS) job, please follow these steps:

Open the MARS (Microsoft Azure Recovery Services) agent on the server where the backup is configured.

In the Actions pane, select Schedule Backup.

On the "Modify or Stop a Scheduled Backup" page, choose the option to stop using the backup schedule.

You’ll be given the choice to either retain the existing backup data or delete it.

If you choose to delete the backup data, you'll need to provide a security PIN. This can be generated from the Azure portal under the Recovery Services vault associated with the backup.

This process will stop any further scheduled backups from occurring.
