Hello. We're trying to put a map on our SharePoint site where it would show our employees' countries and how many of them are in that country.
I tried to search, and found Azure Maps Power BI. However, my concern would be:

The feature request which you are looking for is unavailable right now with Sharepoint. You could have linked it with Bing maps previously but it is deprecated.
Can you please raise a new feature request for your requirement with the Sharepoint team?
The Azure Maps team does not have the ability to edit sharepoint code so you will need the Sharepoint team to update their offering from Bing Maps to Azure Maps.

You are correct, you likely need Sharepoint Support to update their guidance on maps integration as I am only finding Bing Maps too.

They do have a support page at https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/sharepoint but it matters a bit how you license it. Try filling out the Contact Us link at the bottom of the site https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/home/contact?ContactUsExperienceEntryPointAssetId=S.HP.sharepoint and see if that creates a Support case for you.
Please note, this is not really a feature request but rather broken functionality. I would log this as a bug or problem with the existing Map feature in Sharepoint.

The steps for adding a Power BI report to sharepoint are available here https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/power-bi/collaborate-share/service-embed-report-spo
You would create a report with an Azure Map visual in it and then embed that report in Sharepoint. We have been able to do this following the steps given by the Sharepoint team.
