2. Ensure the system-managed identity of your search service has the necessary permissions. It should have at least the Storage Blob Data Reader role assigned. If write access is needed, assign the Storage Blob Data Contributor role as well.
3. If your storage account has firewall rules configured, ensure the IP address of your search service is allowed. You may need to configure inbound rules for the IP address range of the AzureCognitiveSearch service tag.
4. Check the Azure Status page for any ongoing outages or issues that might affect connectivity.
5. Use the Import data wizard in the Azure portal to test the connection to your storage account. This will help determine if the indexer can successfully connect.

If the error persists after these checks, you may need to look deeper into the specific error messages or logs for more detailed troubleshooting.

No, I have not been able to get more information about what is no longer working. When I use the debugger, documents load correctly. Again, this has been running for weeks and has already indexed multiple TB of data. However, sometime last week, the connection issues started.
