Unable to delete Custom Authentication Extension in Enterprise Applications

When attempting to delete a Custom Authentication Extension in the Enterprise Applications section, the following error message appears (GUIDs have been removed for security reasons):

Cannot delete custom extension <GUID>: The custom extension is in used by the listener of id <OTHER-GUID>

The associated App registration was deleted successfully, but the extension remains undeletable.

The main concern is the error message regarding a listener. There is no awareness of any connected listeners; the only connected element was the app registration, which has already been deleted.

    Hi @WaldemarL

Based on the error, you can't delete the custom extension until it is removed from the associated application. You may need to remove the association from the application first and then delete the extension.

The error message shows the application ID where the custom extension is currently associated. If the extension is linked to a deleted application, try restoring that application.

When did you delete the app registration? Deleted applications can typically be restored within 30 days. Once restored, remove the custom extension from the application, and then try deleting the Custom Authentication Extension.

Hope this helps. Do let us know if you any further queries.
