Unable to Delete Virtual Machines

I re-rolled my master image to a new set of VMs, but I find myself unable to delete the "old" ones.

I've done this lots of times without issues. I figured it might be something transitory, so I waited 24 hours, same thing. Also tried deleting from my phone (rather than computer), and same issue.

Co-pilot was less than helpful, and Azure recommended I ask the community. Any thoughts?

Hello @Sean Perryman , If you want to delete the resources associated with the VM, you can check 'Mark and Delete.' If not, please uncheck it and delete only the VM. Please note that once the services are deleted without a backup, they cannot be recovered unless you have one.

If you are deleting the entire resources from resource group, you have to go with force delete.

The solution to this, in my case, was to go to the Resource Group and delete all of the associated resources there (Disk, NIC, Virtual Machine). This worked without issue for me.
