SharePoint Request Sign-off comments not displayed

I have tried to use the built-in "Request Sign-off" approval process. Unfortunately, the approver's comments do not appear in SharePoint. The comments appear in the email response but that is not useful.

I would like to achieve the following... A user uploads a document to a Document Library and then manually triggers a workflow. They can select the approver by typing their name...

The approver should receive an email requesting they approve the document (in this case, an invoice).

The email should contain a link to the document.

The approver can then select the approve option and enter the necessary comments.

The document library should then display the approval status, approver, and the approver's comments.

The built-in option is close but it does not update the document library with the approvers comments.

Any guidance will be appreciated.

    SharePoint Request Sign-off comments not displayed do not display comments by default.

    You can create a new power automate approval flow, and manually add a "Comments" column:

    • Create a Multiple lines of text column named "Approval Comments."
    • Update the approval workflow to write responses to this column.
