The published applications must be installed on session hosts and made accessible either through the Start Menu, file path, or App Attach packages — all of which are expected to exist independently of a user’s session or FSLogix profile.
In your case, because Matlab is installed within your personal FSLogix profile disk (VHDX), the Remote Desktop Client cannot consistently detect it during workspace subscription refreshes.
- Applications should be installed on the session host system-wide, not tied to user profiles.
- Published RemoteApps need persistent visibility from the host OS's perspective — not dependent on FSLogix profile attachment timing.
