I have been using Microsoft Works word processor for many years, and i have scores of Works documents on my old laptop. But I had to buy a new laptop in December, 2024, and of course I have to use Word now. I don't thinks Works exists any more, and I want to be able to print documents from a flash drive and Office Depot & other places.
But when I Google "translate Works documents into Word," all I get is programs to translate Word into other languages! I know that such a program must exist; if I can think of it, surely other people have.
I'm willing to pay for such a program. I don't want to have to type some documents into Word manually; and I want to be able to read my old documents on my new computer.
Thanks for any ideas.

You should be able to use Works on your new computer. I do not know that print shops will be able to handle wps files, though.
