Azure's Speech Studio custom keyword creation is "processing" for hours

Hi,

I'm trying to create a basic custom keyword in Azure AI Speech Studio.

According to the documentation, this process should take a few minutes. I've been waiting for over 10 hours and it is still "processing".

I'm using East US region.

Is there a problem with the service?

The custom keyword creation in Azure AI Speech Studio should take up to 30 minutes per the docs, but delays like your 10-hour wait can happen—others have reported up to 16 hours. There’s no sign of a major issue in East US, but to be sure, check the Azure Service Health in the portal under Monitoring > Service Health for any alerts. If nothing shows up, give it a bit more time, but since it’s been 10 hours, consider raising a support ticket via Help + Support > New Support Request in the Azure portal. Also, double-check your Speech resource setup to ensure everything’s correct.

The East US and East US2 regions frequently experience high demand, which may lead to performance delays. As a temporary workaround, we recommend using a different region until the issue is resolved.

The fix has been deployed in the Australia East and North Europe regions. If feasible, please consider creating a Speech resource in one of these regions to proceed while the issue is being addressed elsewhere.
