vCenter inventory is not up-to-date in Azure Arc. I cannot see newly create machines, resources, networks, etc from Vmware vCenter in Azure Arc portal. However, the integration through the resource-bridge works fine on already connected machines.

I can restart already connected machines.

Which indicates Azure Resource Bridge is connected and credential is working as it is capable of restart a VM.

But can not see any newly built VMs.

Please help!!!!

    Hi Rafi Ahmed,

Your VMware environments integration with Azure Arc seems partially functional. While the Azure Resource Bridge (ARB) is connected and allows actions like restarting existing connected VMs, newly created VMware resources, such as VMs and networks, are not appearing in the Azure Arc portal. This suggests a synchronization issue between vCenter and Azure Arc, possibly caused by a delay or failure in the inventory sync process, a misconfiguration in the Resource Bridge, or an issue with the agent or extension responsible for gathering inventory data from VMware.

To verify Resource Bridge synchronization, ensure that the Azure Resource Bridge is correctly syncing resources from VMware vCenter. This can be done by checking the sync status in the Azure portal. Navigate to Azure Arc > Azure Resource Bridge and review the details to confirm there are no errors or warnings indicating synchronization issues.

Validate that the Resource Bridge configuration includes all relevant resource types and vCenter settings. Ensure new VMs are being picked up based on the scope of the configuration, confirm the correct vCenter server is added to the Resource Bridge and verify that newly created resources fall within the Resource Bridges configured resource scope.

Sometimes, restarting the inventory collection service on the Resource Bridge can resolve sync issues by access the Azure Resource Bridge VM and restart the service responsible for inventory collection.

If the issue persists, it might be caused by outdated components or a corrupted configuration. Consider updating or reinstalling the Azure Resource Bridge to ensure all components are functioning as expected

To make sure new resources are detected, manually trigger a synchronization by running the appropriate PowerShell or Azure CLI commands. Afterward, verify that the new resources appear in the Azure portal.
