Hi - I have recently started to use WVD on a 2019 Mac Air. Alls OK other than my colleagues are struggling to hear me when on Teams calls (and video jerky). I am getting a small red icon on the teams screen which says something like "you audio and cam are not optimised for WVD". Not sure what to do about this. any advice would be very welcomed thank you.

    Dear Andrew3456,

    Thanks for choosing Microsoft community!

I have read your question carefully and done some research, please kindly refer to the following suggestions:

    • Also, make sure that Microsoft Teams is update the latest version.
    • In addition to this, please try to clean the Teams cache to check if it will solve the problem.

To clear your Teams desktop app cache:

    1. Sign out on Teams > Quit Microsoft Teams by right clicking the icon and select Quit.
    2. On your keyboard, Hold Windows key and Press R
    3. Cut and paste %appdata%\Microsoft\Teams in the RUN then OK.
    4. Delete the contents of the entire folder.
    5. Restart Device > Restart Microsoft Teams > Sign In.
    • If you are using the Teams client, try logging in to the Teams web version and check if the same problem occurs.
    • Checking your computer microphone setting and allowed access to Microsoft Teams desktop app
    • Changing a few microphone settings in Teams and tried a test call
    • If the problem persists, try to repair office application.

To narrow down the scope of question, I would like to collect some information:

Your complete screenshot include error information and error codes.

Your description mentions that your colleagues can't hear you, so can you hear your colleagues?

Hope this help you, if there is any deviation in my understanding, please forgive me and provide me with more details, I am more than happy to continue to help you. I wish you a smooth new year and all the best!

    Best regards,

    Kerry
